Data is compiled on the basis of monthly reports from the Danish municipalities. If a citizen has not been in the system for 12 consecutive months in the past, the citizen is considered as a first time referral.

85 municipalities have disseminated data regarding 2022. The total "All Denmark" and the totals for the 5 regions are based on all 98 municipalities by imputing former data reports from the municipaities that have not disseminated a report regarding 2022-data and aggregating these with the data reports from municipalities that have disseminated data regarding 2022.
